A Journey to Health

My journey has been a testament to resilience. Regular vet visits help keep my beak manageable, allowing me to enjoy life to the fullest. I've grown bolder and more confident with each passing day, often coming down to greet my keepers, especially when they bring walnuts—my absolute favourite.

Daily Delights and Social Life

The highlight of my day is spending time with my best friend, a Blue-and-yellow macaw, on the ropes of our home. We love to preen each other and share moments of closeness. I'm quite agile, often seen hanging upside down from the ropes or somersaulting around to snag the best pieces of willow—my preferred chew toy. I relish stripping the buds off the branches and then working over the tough wood with my beak. I even taught myself how to fly since coming to Kiwa!
