Overcoming Challenges

My beak used to grow too much before I was rescued, so it's a bit crooked now, and I need regular vet visits to keep it trimmed. I also have a bit of a plucking habit, but with continuous support from my wonderful keepers, I’m working hard to overcome it.

A Love for Toys and Treats

I adore new toys, especially the ones made of cardboard that I can shred for hours. It’s so much fun! My carers sometimes make me special treats, and my all-time favourites are the ones with peanut butter and banana— simply delicious.

Enjoying the Simple Joys

When it’s warm, I love to bask in the sunshine, usually positioning myself near the food so I don’t have to move too far when I get peckish. This spot is also where my friend Simon likes to stay, so I often cuddle up with him for warmth. We spend our days together, enjoying the sun and each other’s company. I'm not much of a flyer; I prefer to get around using the ropes, and our aviary is perfectly designed for that!
